About

Introducing green technology into the Peak District is a great idea but full of challenges. Our Green Buildings Open Up Weekend is part of a project that encourages the take up of renewable energy technologies and sustainability features within the Peak District.

Why not learn from those who have installed green technology in their property and want to share their knowledge and experience, first-hand, about how using green technology is possible and affordable.

Thinking about going green? Come along and visit a venue:

- Discover what constitutes appropriate green developments in a national park
- Dispel your perceived barriers such as costs and planning issues
- Find out how you can benefit from green technologies, renewable energy and other sustainability features
- Have a chat with someone who’s already tried it
